The Keraleeya Ayurveda Samajam Pharmacy is the first Vaidyasala for the public, where more than 500 products are manufactured while maintaining traditional purity. Besides general medicines from the classical texts of Ayurveda, a series of formulations are prepared in the pharmacy based on old manuscripts of ancient Vaidyas and on the knowledge, experience, and expertise of Samajam physicians. These formulations have been found effective for various ailments.

Medicines produced in the Samajam Pharmacy undergo stringent quality control, which is effectively carried out at every stage of preparation, from the procurement of raw materials to final packing. This careful process gives Samajam medicines their distinctive value. The methods employed are traditional and mostly non-mechanised, with wood still being used as fuel.

Medicated decoctions, oils, medicated ghee, powders, tablets, and fermented medicines are some of the categories produced in the production unit. The manufacturing process excludes all chemical and synthetic formulations.
